Oh is the Occupational Health service for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as well as Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and a number of external organisations. We are proud to be accredited by SEQOHS, meeting the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service standards.
We aim to improve the health, safety and general wellbeing of all staff, striving to create a healthier working environment. Based in a purpose-built building on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, our Occupational Health team comprises of occupational health specialist doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and administrative personnel.
Occupational Health offers a wide range of services aimed at:
- reducing ill health at work
- supporting those at work with health problems and disabilities
- pre-employment health assessments
- health surveillance programmes and advice dependent on the nature of your job and hazard exposure in accordance with health and safety legislation
- work-related immunisation advice and vaccination programmes
- post blood or body fluid exposure support
- environmental monitoring and workstation assessments
- promoting health and wellbeing
- confidential advice and guidance for staff with health problems that could affect/impact their ability to do their job
- assessment for fitness to work after an illness or injury
- assessment of health related performance concerns

Employees can discuss health at work issues with their line manager which may result in a Management referral or self-referral.
